SolCell Mobile

SolCell originated by making mobile power solutions with a clear mission to get rid of fossil-fuel powered generators in off grid applications, like construction and events.  The first ever system used upcycled batteries and equipment often found in boats.  Now the SolCell mobile systems are advanced solutions with remote monitoring, advanced reporting and using the latest battery, solar and inverter technology.

rANGE OF MOBILE UNITS

There are several SolCell Mobile systems in the range.  The smallest is a rack-mount solution for powering tools, small sound systems and lighting.  The largest systems provide kilowatts of energy for powerful flood lighting, large-scale audio and industrial tooling.

SolCell Mobile can

  • Use onsite solar power generation
  • Link with grid energy
  • “Power magnify” grid energy by supplementing limited grid supply with additional battery or solar power
  • Work with traditional generators to act as a “hybrid” system
  • Provide zero-cost perpetual energy
  • Operate when there is no sun or wind, by utilising the integrate high-power battery systems
  • Deliver real-time reporting on performance, capacity and generation
  • Be used outdoors

Common questions

Does SolCell Mean I don’t need a normal generator?

Yes, aas long as the SolCell system is correctly sized you don’t need a diesel generator, or fuel.  No noise, no fumes.

Is SolCell as reliable than a diesel generator?

Yes, SolCell is much more reliable than a generator.  Generators have thousands of moving parts, fluids and chemicals.  SolCell has zero moving parts and is made from industrial electronics, the reliability standards are excellent.

Where does the power in SolCell come from?

SolCell comes to site pre-charged from our solar power station.  Onsite it can continue to be charged from solar panels, or just run on batteries.

What if the batteries run flat?

It is important to size the SolCell system so this doesn’t happen. SolCell can also work as a “hybrid” system whereby it can utilise a generator to charge the batteries. SolCell tells the generator to turn on and off as needed.
